Name: PNY USB 2.0 FD USB Device Driver
Author: PNY

Question 1

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB 2.0 port, preferably rear-mounted. Check Disk Management for the PNY drive and assign a drive letter if it appears without one.

Question 2

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

In Device Manager, uninstall the PNY USB 2.0 FD device (and any yellow-marked USB Mass Storage entry), reconnect it, and let Windows install the built-in mass-storage driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old PNY or third-party USB drivers, update the motherboard chipset/USB host controller drivers, then use Windows’ inbox USB Mass Storage driver instead of forcing a generic package.
