Name: Plantronics D100 Driver
Author: Plantronics

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Plantronics D100 installer as administrator, close other audio apps, and reconnect the USB headset only when prompted. If it still fails, uninstall any previous Plantronics software, reboot, and rerun the installer.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try a different USB port directly on the PC, not a hub. In Device Manager, check under Sound, video and game controllers for the D100 or unknown USB audio device; uninstall the faulty entry, replug the headset, and let Windows redetect it.

Question 3

Version or audio conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Plantronics/USB audio drivers, reboot, and install the current D100 package. Then set the D100 as the default playback and recording device in Windows Sound settings and test both earphones and microphone.
