Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the PIX MPTV P6W setup as administrator, close TV/Media Center apps, and temporarily disable antivirus. If Windows blocks an unsigned tuner driver, use only a manufacturer-signed release.

Question 2

Tuner not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug the P6W directly into a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub. Install the driver first, then connect the device and rescan in Device Manager or your TV app.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older PIX/MPTV tuner drivers and bundled TV software, reboot, then install the current package. Keep only one tuner driver version installed.
