Author: Partner Tech

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the RP 300H, remove old Partner Tech/POS printer queues and drivers in Print Management, then run the RP 300H setup as administrator and reconnect only when prompted.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the receipt printer is powered on and use a known-good USB/serial cable. Check Device Manager for an unknown device or COM port, then select the matching USB/COM port in the RP 300H printer properties.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall generic Windows thermal/POS drivers before installing the Partner Tech RP 300H package. Match the driver to your Windows version and 32/64-bit architecture, then print a test receipt before setting it as default.
