Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the driver installer as administrator, close antivirus temporarily, and reboot before retrying. If Windows blocks an older unsigned driver, disable driver signature enforcement only for the install, then re-enable it.

Question 2

Microphone not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB 2.0 port and a data-capable cable, not a charge-only cable or unpowered hub. In Device Manager, check under “Sound, video and game controllers”; remove any unknown device and rescan. Set “Paper Jamz Pro Microphone” as the default recording device and allow microphone access in Windows privacy settings.

Question 3

Version conflicts or audio glitches?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Paper Jamz software/drivers first, then roll back or update your Realtek/Windows audio driver and reboot. Avoid running multiple virtual audio devices while testing the microphone.
