Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Pantech setup as administrator and confirm you downloaded the correct 32-bit/64-bit Windows package. Temporarily disable antivirus, remove any partial install, and reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Modem not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB port instead of a hub, try another cable/port, and check Device Manager for unknown or hidden devices. Uninstall the entry, unplug the modem, then reconnect and reinstall the driver.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Pantech modem software and any existing modem entries in Device Manager, selecting “Delete the driver software” where available. Reboot, then install only the latest compatible driver.
