Name: Output Technology LM1000 Driver
Author: Output Technology

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the LM1000 setup as administrator and confirm you downloaded the correct Windows x64/x86 package. If Windows blocks the legacy printer driver, temporarily allow unsigned/older drivers or use the signed package for your OS version.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the LM1000’s power and cable/port type (USB, parallel, or network). In Windows, verify the correct printer port is selected and the printer is online; for network models, confirm the IP address and that port 9100 is reachable.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing Output Technology LM1000 driver before installing a new one. Use Print Management or “printui /s /t2” to delete old driver packages, reboot, then reinstall the matching version.
