Question 1

Install fails on 64-bit Windows?

Accepted Answer

Run the Olivetti Pr2 Plus setup as administrator and confirm you downloaded the 64-bit package. If Windows blocks the driver, check its signature/date and temporarily disable driver signature enforcement during setup, then re-enable it.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Verify the Pr2 Plus is powered on and connected to the correct port (USB, parallel LPT, or serial COM). In Printer Properties, select the matching port; avoid unpowered USB hubs or generic USB-to-serial adapters that can drop the device.

Question 3

Old driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any previous Olivetti or 32-bit driver in Device Manager and Apps & Features, choose “Delete driver software,” restart, then install the new 64-bit driver. Restart the Print Spooler if print jobs stall.
