Author: Okidata

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the C3400n, remove old Okidata printer entries and queues, then run the driver installer as administrator. Reboot before reconnecting USB or network.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, use a direct rear port, not a hub. For network, confirm the C3400n has a valid IP on the same subnet, then create/verify the TCP/IP port and restart the print spooler.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall earlier Okidata C3400n drivers and leftover ports first. Match the package to Windows version and 32/64-bit, and avoid generic PCL/PostScript drivers if they do not support this model’s features.
