Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Use the OKI MICROLINE 390 TURBO driver matching your Windows version and 32/64-bit architecture. Run the installer as administrator, remove any failed print queue, then retry. If Windows blocks the legacy driver, use OKI’s signed package or temporarily disable driver signature enforcement.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the printer is powered and online. Reseat the USB or parallel cable, try another port, and add the printer manually in Devices and Printers using the correct USB/LPT port.

Question 3

Version or port conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Delete old OKI MICROLINE 390/390 TURBO queues and drivers in Print Management, restart Print Spooler, then reinstall. Set the new queue as default and verify tractor-feed paper settings.
