Name: oem9.inf Driver
Author: Philips

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Philips driver setup as Administrator and connect the device only when prompted. Confirm the package matches Windows architecture (x64/ARM64); if needed, use Device Manager > Update driver > Browse to the extracted `oem9.inf` folder.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Plug the Philips USB device directly into a rear port, not a hub. In Device Manager, remove any greyed-out/unknown Philips entry, reconnect the device, then scan for hardware changes.

Question 3

Version conflict or old driver returns?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall the Philips device in Device Manager and tick “Delete the driver software,” reboot, then reinstall the current package. If Windows Update replaces it, roll back and set the driver update to manual.
