Name: oem64.inf Driver
Author: Silicon Image

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the package is the 64-bit INF for your exact Silicon Image SATA/RAID controller. Run setup as administrator; if Windows blocks it, update via Device Manager > Update driver > Browse > Have Disk and select `oem64.inf`.

Question 2

Drive/controller not detected?

Accepted Answer

Reseat the card and check SATA data/power cables. Enable the controller in BIOS/UEFI and set SATA mode (AHCI/RAID/IDE) to match the Silicon Image driver; try another port.

Question 3

Version conflicts or BSODs?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Silicon Image or generic AHCI/RAID drivers, remove ghost devices, reboot, then install one matching driver package. Do not mix Microsoft Storport/AHCI with SiI RAID drivers.
