Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Océ fx3000, stop the Print Spooler service, remove any failed Océ fx3000 queue, then run the driver installer as administrator. Reconnect only when prompted; for network models, use a TCP/IP port rather than WSD.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the plotter’s USB port/cable or assign a fixed IP address on the network. Add the Océ fx3000 manually with a Standard TCP/IP port and verify the correct port is selected in Printer Properties.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Océ or wide-format plotter drivers and duplicate queues in Print Management, restart the spooler, and install the matching Windows 32/64-bit package. Avoid mixing PCL/PostScript drivers for the same fx3000 queue.
