Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the USB cable, remove old Oce/Imagistics printer entries and drivers via Print Management, reboot, then run the cm4531 package as administrator. Temporarily disable antivirus if it blocks the signed setup.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

For USB, use a direct rear port and a known-good cable. For network, assign a static IP and create a TCP/IP port using the cm4531’s IP; confirm RAW/9100 printing is enabled.

Question 3

Version conflicts (print/scan)?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous Oce Imagistics, TWAIN/WIA, and universal drivers, clear the print spooler, then install one cm4531 driver package matching your Windows architecture. Restart the spooler.
