Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Stop the Print Spooler service, remove any existing OKI C711WT/PS driver and ports in Print Management, then run the installer as administrator and reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the C711WT is powered on and connected. For USB, try a direct rear port and a known-good cable. For network, verify the printer IP and create a Standard TCP/IP port; then add the OKI C711WT(PS) driver manually.

Question 3

Version or PostScript conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove duplicate OKI C711WT PS drivers, match the Windows architecture (x64/x86), clear stale print jobs, and restart the spooler. Avoid mixing PCL and PostScript drivers on the same queue.
