Question 1

Install fails or setup exits early?

Accepted Answer

Run the OKI B4400 setup as administrator and confirm you are using the correct 32-bit/64-bit package. If it still fails, use Devices and Printers > Add a printer > Have Disk and point to the B4400 INF file.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the B4400 directly to a rear USB port, not a hub. Power the printer on before the PC, try a known-good USB cable, and restart the Print Spooler service.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove existing OKI B4400 entries in Print Management > Drivers and Device Manager, uninstall the old driver package, reboot, then install only the current OKI B4400 driver.
