Name: O2Micro OZ6812 CardBus Controller Driver
Author: O2Micro

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Use the correct 32-bit/64-bit driver and run the installer as administrator. If setup still fails, update manually in Device Manager via “Have Disk” and point to the extracted `.inf` file.

Question 2

CardBus device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the CardBus/PCMCIA slot is enabled in BIOS and Windows. Reseat the card, check for a known-good card, and remove hidden/ghost devices in Device Manager before rescanning hardware.

Question 3

Version or resource conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing O2Micro or generic CardBus driver, reboot, and let Windows reinstall. If another O2Micro controller driver is present, avoid forcing the OZ6812 INF onto it; roll back or disable the conflicting device and check IRQ/memory assignments.
