Author: Kyocera

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing Kyocera FS-1025MFP GX driver in Print Management, run the installer as administrator, and reboot before retrying. Temporarily disable antivirus if it blocks setup.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the MFP is powered on and connected by USB directly to the PC, not a hub, or verify its network IP. Add the printer manually using the correct USB/network port and Kyocera driver.

Question 3

Version conflicts or repeated driver prompts?

Accepted Answer

Delete old Kyocera driver packages and stale printer queues, restart the Print Spooler service, then install the matching 32/64-bit driver. Avoid mixing universal and model-specific drivers.
