Name: Kyocera ECOSYS P2035d KX Driver
Author: Kyocera

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing Kyocera P2035d/KX driver in Print Management, restart the Print Spooler service, then run the official KX package as administrator. Temporarily disable antivirus if setup is blocked, and reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the printer is on and connected directly to a working USB port—avoid hubs. Try another cable/port, then use Windows Add Printer or Kyocera setup to detect it. If still missing, check Device Manager for unknown USB devices and reinstall the KX driver.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old Kyocera or generic laser drivers, choose the correct 32-bit or 64-bit KX package for Windows, and avoid mixing Windows Update and vendor drivers. After removal, restart the spooler and reinstall the matching P2035d driver.
