Author: Kyocera

Question 1

Installation fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the KX driver installer as administrator, use the correct 32/64-bit package for the TASKalfa 300i, and remove older Kyocera drivers first. Reboot before reinstalling.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Verify the printer’s IP address responds to ping, then add it using a Standard TCP/IP port rather than WSD. For USB, connect directly to a rear port and replace the cable if needed.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate queues?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old KX/Universal Kyocera drivers via Print server properties > Drivers, delete stale printer queues, reboot, then install only the TASKalfa 300i KX driver.
