Question 1

Installer fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

Right-click the Kozumi setup file and choose Run as administrator. Temporarily disable antivirus real-time scanning, leave the USB Wi-Fi adapter unplugged until setup asks, and use a USB 2.0 port directly on the PC—not a hub.

Question 2

Adapter not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check Device Manager for “Unknown device” or a yellow warning. Unplug/replug the K 500MWUN, try another USB port, then install manually via Update driver > Browse my computer. Test on another PC if it still fails.

Question 3

Version conflicts or dropped connections?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Wi-Fi adapter drivers, select Delete driver software, reboot, then install the driver matching your Windows version/architecture. In Device Manager, roll back if a Windows update replaced the Kozumi driver.
