Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Konica Minolta PagePro 1590MF installer as administrator and try Windows 7 compatibility mode. Temporarily disable antivirus, disconnect the USB cable until setup prompts, then reboot.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct rear USB port, not a hub. Power-cycle the printer, check Device Manager for unknown devices, and confirm both printer and scanner drivers are installed.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older PagePro 1590MF printer and scanner entries, reboot, then install the full official package. Verify the printer uses the correct USB port and that WIA/TWAIN scanning is selected.
