Question 1

Install fails or stops midway?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Magicolor 2400W USB cable before running setup. Run the driver installer as administrator, match it to Windows 32/64-bit, and reconnect USB only when prompted.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Power on the 2400W, use a direct USB 2.0 port (no hub), try another cable/port, and restart the Print Spooler service. Check that it is not listed as an unknown USB device.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove any existing Magicolor 2400W driver and printer port via Print Management or Print Server Properties, reboot, then install one package only. Avoid mixing older 2400W drivers with newer Windows print drivers.
