Name: Konica Minolta Magicolor 1690MF Driver
Author: Konica Minolta

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the USB cable until setup prompts; run the Magicolor 1690MF installer as administrator and remove existing Konica Minolta printer drivers/ports first. Temporarily disable antivirus if it blocks driver installation.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the 1690MF is powered on and ready. For USB, use a direct rear-port connection and a known-good cable; for network, assign a valid IP and create a Standard TCP/IP port. Check Device Manager for unknown devices.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Magicolor 1690MF print, scan, and fax entries, reboot, then install the full package matching Windows version and architecture. Avoid mixing generic PostScript/PCL drivers with the Konica Minolta package; retest scanning via WIA/TWAIN.
