Name: Konica Minolta Di552 Di470 PS Driver
Author: Konica Minolta

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Stop the Print Spooler, remove old Konica Minolta Di552/Di470 print queues in Print Management, then run the PS driver installer as administrator. If setup still fails, add the printer manually via TCP/IP and select the PS driver INF.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the printer’s IP address and ping it. Create a Standard TCP/IP port using RAW port 9100 instead of WSD. For USB, try a direct rear port and check the cable.

Question 3

Version/driver conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall previous PCL, PS, or Konica Minolta Universal drivers and clear stale Di552/Di470 queues before installing. Avoid mixing Di552 and Di470 PS drivers on one queue; restart the spooler after removal.
