Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Remove any older Konica Minolta bizhub C552/C552 Series driver and reboot before running the package as administrator. Temporarily disable antivirus if it blocks setup.

Question 2

Device not detected over network?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the C552 has a valid IP address and responds to ping. Add it using a Standard TCP/IP port instead of auto-discovery; ensure port 9100 is open.

Question 3

Version/scan conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Use one matching C552 driver package for print and scan, and remove conflicting generic PCL/PostScript drivers. If scanning fails, reinstall the Konica Minolta scanner driver and set the correct IP.
