Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Remove existing Konica Minolta bizhub C454e entries in Print Management, reboot, then run the installer as administrator. Confirm the package matches Windows architecture and is fully extracted.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Verify the C454e is powered on and connected. For network use, check the IP address, subnet, and that RAW port 9100 or LPR is reachable; create a Standard TCP/IP port manually if auto-discovery fails. For USB, use a direct rear port and a known-good cable.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older C454e or universal KONICA MINOLTA drivers before installing the matching C454e package. Remove orphaned drivers in Print Management, restart the print spooler, and avoid mixing PCL and PostScript drivers on one queue.
