Name: Konica Minolta bizhub C253 Driver
Author: Konica Minolta

Question 1

Installer fails or hangs on Windows 10/11?

Accepted Answer

The C253 package is older and may not run correctly from `setup.exe`. Run it as administrator with compatibility mode, or manually install the extracted PCL/PS driver via Add Printer > Have Disk.

Question 2

Device not detected on the network?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the C253 has a static IP, ping it from the PC, and enable SNMP/network discovery. If discovery still fails, add a Standard TCP/IP port using the printer’s IP address instead of WSD.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove old Konica Minolta print queues and drivers in Print Management, restart the Print Spooler, then install only the correct C253 PCL or PS driver. Avoid mixing Universal and model-specific drivers.
