Name: Konica Minolta 195 Scanner Driver
Author: Konica Minolta

Question 1

Driver install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the USB cable, run the Konica Minolta installer as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, and use the full scanner driver package instead of the Windows Update version. Reboot before reconnecting.

Question 2

Scanner not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB port rather than a hub, confirm the scanner is powered and ready, and check Device Manager for unknown/imaging devices. For network-connected units, verify the IP address and that PC and scanner are on the same subnet.

Question 3

Version conflicts or duplicate scanners?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall old Konica Minolta/TWAIN/WIA entries, remove stale devices in Device Manager, reboot, then install the latest driver. In your scanning app, select one Konica Minolta scanner and avoid mixing vendor TWAIN with Windows WIA.
