Author: Kodak

Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the VERITE 50 Series, remove any existing “Kodak VERITE” printer entries and driver packages in Print Management, then run the downloaded installer as administrator. Reconnect USB only when setup asks.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a direct USB 2.0 port (no hub), try a known-good cable, power-cycle the printer, and confirm the Windows Print Spooler service is running. Set the VERITE 50 as online/default if Windows shows it offline.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Kodak VERITE 50 drivers, delete leftover driver packages from Print Management > Drivers, reboot, and install the latest package for your Windows version. Avoid mixing Windows Update and Kodak installers.
