Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the scanner, uninstall any older Kodak/i-series driver and scanning software, run the installer as administrator, reboot, then reconnect the scanner.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a powered USB 2.0 port directly—not a hub—and confirm the scanner is powered and ready. Try another cable/port, then check Device Manager for an unknown imaging device and reinstall the driver.

Question 3

TWAIN/WIA version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove other scanner drivers or scanning apps that may claim the same TWAIN source. Install the matching Kodak i1320 driver and select “Kodak i1320” as the default TWAIN/WIA source in your scanning application.
