Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the USB cable, run the Kodak HERO 4.2 AiO driver installer as administrator, and reconnect only when prompted. Temporarily disable antivirus and remove any partially installed Kodak printer entries in Devices and Printers before retrying.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check the USB cable/port or confirm the AiO is on the same Wi-Fi network as the PC. Power-cycle the printer and router, then use Add a printer > The printer I want isn't listed to re-add it. For USB, try a rear port directly on the PC.

Question 3

Version conflicts or scanner not working?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Kodak HERO/AiO software, restart Windows, then install the latest full driver package. Set the HERO 4.2 AiO as default printer and test scan from the Kodak app to confirm both print and scan drivers loaded.
