Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Kodak ESP 5 AiO, remove any previous Kodak ESP software, then run the ESP 5 AiO installer as administrator. If setup still fails, use Windows compatibility mode for your OS version and reboot before reconnecting the USB cable.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the ESP 5 AiO directly to a rear USB port, not a hub, and confirm it is powered on. Check Device Manager for unknown USB devices; restart the Print Spooler service and try another certified USB cable.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall all existing Kodak ESP entries and the Windows generic printer driver before installing the correct ESP 5 AiO package. Avoid mixing drivers from other ESP models, and set the new driver as default after installation.
