Author: Kodak

Question 1

Install fails on modern Windows?

Accepted Answer

The Kodak DVC 325 uses legacy USB camera drivers. Run the installer as administrator in Windows XP compatibility mode; on 64-bit Windows, use a supported legacy OS or VM if the driver is unsigned.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the camera directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, not a hub. Try another USB cable and check Device Manager for an unknown device; remove it and rescan.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any previous Kodak DVC 325 driver and Kodak camera software, delete the driver in Device Manager, reboot, then install one matching package for your Windows version. Avoid mixing old TWAIN/WDM driver sets.
