Name: Kodak DVC 323 Digital Video Camera Driver
Author: Kodak

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Run the Kodak setup as administrator in Compatibility Mode for an older Windows version. If the package is unsigned, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement only for a trusted legacy driver, then re-enable it.

Question 2

Camera not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect directly to a rear USB 2.0 port, avoid unpowered hubs and USB 3.0 ports, reseat the cable, and check Device Manager for an unknown/imaging device. Install the driver before opening video apps.

Question 3

Version conflicts or no video?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall any prior Kodak/DVC or generic USB video drivers, choose “Delete driver software,” reboot, then install one package. In the capture app, select Kodak DVC 323 as the video source and lower resolution/frame rate if preview fails.
