Question 1

Install fails or is blocked?

Accepted Answer

Older Kodak 9810 installers may need Windows compatibility mode. Run the setup as administrator, allow any signed-driver prompt, and reboot before retrying.

Question 2

Printer not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the 9810 is powered on and connected directly via USB, not through a hub. Try another USB port/cable, then check Device Manager for unknown devices.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove existing Kodak 9810 printer entries and old driver packages via Printers & scanners and Print Server Properties. Reboot, then install the correct 32-bit or 64-bit Windows driver package.
