Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the driver matches your Windows version and 32/64-bit architecture. Run the setup as administrator, close antivirus temporarily, and install the chipset/INF driver first for the Kobian P4VM800M7 motherboard.

Question 2

Onboard device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check BIOS that onboard audio, LAN, and VGA are enabled. Install the chipset driver before audio/LAN/VGA drivers, then rescan in Device Manager.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older VIA/S3/Realtek drivers via Device Manager or Programs and Features, reboot, then install the matching P4VM800M7 package. Avoid mixing generic Windows Update drivers with vendor drivers.
