Name: KODAK CD43 Digital Camera Driver
Author: Kodak

Question 1

Install fails on newer Windows?

Accepted Answer

The CD43 relies on legacy Kodak EasyShare drivers. Run the installer as administrator and use Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode. If Windows blocks the driver, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement, install, then reconnect the camera.

Question 2

Camera not detected?

Accepted Answer

Turn the camera on and select PC/Connect mode, not Review. Use the original USB cable and a rear USB 2.0 port directly on the PC; install the driver before connecting. Check Device Manager for an unknown/USB camera device.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Kodak EasyShare software and any existing CD43 driver from Programs and Features and Device Manager. Reboot, then install only one driver package; avoid mixing Windows Update’s generic camera driver with Kodak’s.
