Name: KEYENCE SR 1000 Driver
Author: Keyence

Question 1

Install fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the KEYENCE installer as administrator and close SR Designer or other Keyence utilities first. Confirm you are using the correct signed package for your Windows version, and connect the SR-1000 directly to the PC—not a USB hub.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Verify the SR-1000 is set to USB communication and powered correctly. Use the specified KEYENCE USB cable, then check Device Manager for an unknown device or new COM port. Try another USB port/cable.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older KEYENCE USB/COM drivers and remove stale SR-1000 COM ports before installing the new driver. Reboot, then reassign the COM port if another Keyence device or software is holding it.
