Name: Nortek WEBCAM 100 Driver
Author: Nortek

Question 1

Installer fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Run the Nortek setup file as Administrator, close camera apps and Windows Camera, and temporarily allow the installer through antivirus. If it still fails, retry in Windows compatibility mode.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Connect the WEBCAM 100 directly to a rear USB port, not a hub. In Device Manager, check Imaging devices or Unknown devices, uninstall the entry, then rescan. Also confirm Windows camera privacy access is enabled.

Question 3

Driver/version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the webcam, uninstall any previous Nortek WEBCAM 100 driver and related camera software, reboot, then install only the latest package. If Windows installed a generic camera driver, use Device Manager to update or roll back the driver.
