Name: Nokia X2 00 Driver
Author: Nokia

Question 1

Install fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

The Nokia X2-00 uses legacy USB drivers. Run the installer as administrator and try Windows 7 compatibility mode. On Windows 10/11, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement if the Nokia driver is unsigned.

Question 2

Phone not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a known-good Nokia CA-101-style USB cable directly, not a hub. Set the X2-00 USB mode to PC Suite/Nokia mode, then check Device Manager for an unknown Nokia USB device and reinstall Nokia PC Suite/Ovi Suite.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Nokia PC Suite, Ovi Suite, and Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver entries first. In Device Manager, show hidden devices and remove leftover Nokia USB drivers, reboot, then install one matching driver version only.
