Name: Nokia N9 USB Modem Driver
Author: Nokia

Question 1

Install fails?

Accepted Answer

Run the Nokia installer as administrator and use Windows 7 compatibility mode if setup fails on Windows 10/11. Temporarily disable antivirus, reboot, then retry.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

On the Nokia N9, switch from Nokia Suite/MTP mode to USB modem/tethering mode. Use a data-capable cable and check Device Manager under Modems/Ports; if unknown, manually update the driver and point it to the extracted Nokia `.inf` file.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Nokia PC Suite/OVI Suite and remove duplicate Nokia modem or RNDIS entries in Device Manager. Reboot before installing the current driver, and prevent Windows from auto-selecting a generic modem driver.
