Name: Nokia E5 00 USB Phone Parent Driver
Author: Nokia

Question 1

Install fails or driver is blocked?

Accepted Answer

Run the Nokia PC Suite/Ovi Suite installer as administrator in Windows compatibility mode. Disconnect the Nokia E5 00 until prompted, and temporarily disable driver signature enforcement if Windows blocks the older unsigned USB Phone Parent driver.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use a known-good data cable and a direct USB port, not a hub. Set the phone’s USB mode to PC Suite, then check Device Manager for an unknown device and reinstall the Nokia connectivity suite.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Nokia PC Suite/Ovi Suite versions and existing Nokia USB drivers, reboot, then install one matching suite version. Avoid installing multiple Nokia suites side by side.
