Name: Nokia DLOAD Driver
Author: Nokia

Question 1

Driver install fails?

Accepted Answer

Windows may block the Nokia DLOAD driver if it is unsigned or the installer is not elevated. Run the package as administrator, use a signed/compatible build for your Windows version, and reboot before retrying. On 64-bit Windows, temporarily disable driver signature enforcement only if the vendor instructions require it.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Confirm the phone is actually in DLOAD/download mode before connecting, then try a known-good data cable and a rear USB 2.0 port. In Device Manager, look for “Nokia DLOAD,” “QUSB_BULK,” or an unknown USB device; reinstall the driver on that entry rather than letting Windows pick a generic one.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older Nokia PC Suite/USB flashing drivers and hidden devices first, reboot, then install the matching DLOAD package. Mixing Nokia/Qualcomm driver versions can make the port disappear or flash tools fail.
