Question 1

Install fails on Windows 10/11?

Accepted Answer

The older Nokia USB/connectivity driver may be blocked by driver signature enforcement or an incompatible installer. Run the Nokia suite installer as administrator in Windows 7 compatibility mode, install the Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver first, then reboot.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Set the Nokia C5 00.2 USB mode to PC Suite via Menu > Settings > Connectivity > USB, and use a working data cable directly in a rear USB port—not a hub. Reinstall the Nokia USB driver if detection still fails.

Question 3

Version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Multiple Nokia suites/drivers (PC Suite, Ovi Suite, Connectivity Cable Driver) can conflict. Uninstall all Nokia PC/Ovi Suite and cable drivers, reboot, then install one matching suite/driver version only.
