Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the mouse, run the installer as administrator, and close other mouse/pointing-device software. If Windows blocks the driver, check the publisher/signature before allowing installation, then reconnect to a direct rear USB port.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Try another USB port and cable/adapter if used; avoid unpowered hubs. In Device Manager, scan for hardware changes and check under Mice and other pointing devices or Unknown devices. Reboot if it appears only after sleep.

Question 3

Version conflicts/rollback?

Accepted Answer

If double-click, scroll, or cursor issues start after an update, open Device Manager > Mouse > Properties > Driver and use Roll Back Driver or Uninstall device, then reinstall the Newmen/Newmentech package and restart.
