Name: NetComm NP7032 Wireless LAN PC Card Driver
Author: NetComm

Question 1

Install fails or driver is rejected?

Accepted Answer

The NP7032 uses a legacy wireless PC Card driver, so modern Windows may block it. Run the installer as administrator, use compatibility mode for the driver’s original Windows version, or temporarily disable driver signature enforcement; confirm you downloaded the correct 32-bit/64-bit package.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Check Device Manager for the PCMCIA/CardBus controller and the NP7032 under Network Adapters. Reseat the card, try another PC Card slot, and ensure the slot is enabled in BIOS. Install the NetComm driver before inserting the card if setup requires it.

Question 3

Version/utility conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Remove older NetComm or other wireless drivers and utilities first. Do not run the NetComm WLAN utility alongside Windows wireless configuration; use one manager only, then reboot and reinstall the matching driver version.
