Name: Kensington SlimBlade Presenter Media Mouse Driver
Author: Kensington

Question 1

Install fails or hangs?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the USB receiver, run the Kensington installer as administrator, and avoid legacy MouseWorks packages on newer Windows versions. Use only the current driver for this presenter mouse.

Question 2

Device not detected?

Accepted Answer

Replace batteries, plug the receiver directly into a rear USB port instead of a hub, and re-pair using the receiver’s connect button if available. Check Device Manager under Mice and Human Interface Devices.

Question 3

Version conflicts / buttons misbehave?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Kensington drivers and MouseWorks, restart, let Windows install the native HID driver, then reinstall the latest package. Remove duplicate HID entries in Device Manager if presenter/media buttons still fail.
