Question 1

Install fails or stalls?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the wireless receiver, close any Kensington software, run the installer as administrator, and try Windows compatibility mode. Reboot before reconnecting the receiver.

Mouse not detected?

Accepted Answer

Replace the batteries, plug the receiver directly into a USB port instead of a hub, and reseat it. Check Device Manager for an unknown device; if available, use the mouse’s connect/pair button.

Question 3

Driver version conflicts?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older Kensington mouse drivers and duplicate “Pocket Mouse Pro” entries in Device Manager, selecting “Delete driver software” where offered. Unplug the receiver, reboot, install the latest driver, then reconnect.
