Author: Kensington

Question 1

Installer fails or rolls back?

Accepted Answer

Disconnect the Dock 33367, run the Kensington/DisplayLink installer as administrator, temporarily disable antivirus, then reboot before reconnecting the dock.

Question 2

Dock not detected?

Accepted Answer

Use the dock’s USB 3.0 cable directly into a host USB port—not a hub—and confirm the power adapter is connected. Try another USB 3.0 port and check Device Manager for an unknown USB device.

Question 3

Version conflicts/display problems?

Accepted Answer

Uninstall older DisplayLink/Kensington dock software and reboot. Install the latest package, then reconnect; if Windows replaces it with a generic driver, roll back/update the driver and set the correct display mode.
